Segment will focus on the creation of a page displaying text and images where all of the data is stored in variables instead of being laid out ahead of time on the stage.
Day 2 - Actionscript is Power - Bringing Movies to Life with Code
1.0 Manipulating objects with Actionscript
Short Break
2.0 Case Study - Photo Transition Effect
This study will involve the movement and manipulation of MovieClips on the stage using Actionscript in combination with Tweens for greater flexibility.

3.0 Creating MovieClips with Actionscript
4.0 Case Study - Building a Menu
Case study will utilize the previously taught building blocks of Actionscript to dynamically create a menu of options including text, images and thumbnail photos.

Day 3 - Assembling a Project - Flash Photo Gallery
1.0 Introduction to XML
2.0 Parsing XML in Flash
Short Break
3.0 Case Study - XML Data & Parsing for the Photo Gallery
In this segment we will build a XML file to store the data to be used in the Flash Photo Gallery. Using the XML Object we will load and parse the data, storing it in arrays for easy access in our Photo Gallery.
